Virtual Master: Edge Trainer
A downloadable game for Windows
Add a bit of spice to your arsenal of lewditry with this feature packed edge trainer. Play alone or with a partner, its pretty versatile.

DA ROOLS:
The rules of the game are quite simple. Green means go, Red means stop, Until it says so you don't pop.
Your aim is to reach the edge at the exact moment the timer bar fills up. Each edge will reward you with points. If you don't reach the edge that is perfectly acceptable within DA ROOLS and you still get the points. If you reach the edge early and don't think you can make it to the end, you can press space bar to stop early (for reduced points).
If at any point you pop without being prompted to do so, you must press the OOPS button. Once you are prompted to pop you have a limited amount of time to do so. If you do not pop before time runs out you must stop, and if the session ends before you pop, its GAME OVER. Better luck next time~
Optional Game Mechanics:
* Edge Riding: If enabled edging early has a chance to make you ride the edge. for those of us that like taking risks.
* Continues: If enabled failing to pop within the time limit has a chance to continue the session. What's the catch you ask? if you do succeed, or even pop early for that matter, there is still a chance of continuing the session. It's only fair~

Install instructions
Download and extract the zip file to any location.
After extracting make sure there is a .dll file present in the directory. Anti-Virus likes to delete those sometimes and in this case the game probably wont launch without it.

Would love to try the game, but both Windows and my web browser have flagged the download as malicious. Not sure if it's a false positive, since I have never encountered this issue on Itch until now.
Thaaaaats a bit weird. I mean windows will try to block it at first simply because its missing a code signature (Which is basically just used to verify that the binaries haven't been tampered with or corrupted between when I build it an when you run it, But you can just click run anyway if you trust the source). Never heard of a browser flagging anything ever.
I could go and get a certificate to sign with, but I have yet to find an option that is free, or even cheap for that matter XD.
Great work. I will have to sign up on Patreon. I am sure you have ideas and directions you want to take this. You may want to consider including some of the features of FlipFlip Slideshow creator for building the scenes. It would be nice to add two local directories, one for green and one for red.
ooo that is an idea, cant say I know what FlipFlip slideshow is though. Ill have to look it up later.
The game doesn't load, even if I set the max horny things to two. I've set a few tags for e6, but nothing happens. What am I missing? How do I install this properly?
There's a known bug in this version (already fixed for the next update) where if no images get loaded it gets stuck on the loading screen.
If you are trying to use the tag search make sure the toggles labled "Search" and "Enabled" are turned on. (And that the tags actually exist on e6)

Darn, things still aren't working. What file types are supported for the local option?
PNG, JPG, and GIF are supported for local. It's strange the web option is not working for you though. If you don't mind, could you share a screenshot of the e621 settings?
Sure! Here are my settings for the thingy. How does the game fetch images from the web? Also I tried local, and it works great -- I'll probably do that if the online search doesn't give anything.
i feel like this is picking all of my safe rated e6 favorites on purpose
Just put rating:safe in the blacklist silly. thats a tag right? XD
edit: Actually might be metadata :c I should add a way to do that XD
i didn't think the blacklist tags affected posts pulled from my favorites, since it was pulling posts that didn't fit the search tags I put. A clarification that the blacklist effects both search results and favorites would be appreciated
So how it works is if use fav is on it uses username and pulls your favorites up till maxload setting, if use search is on it uses the tag list and pulls like a normal e621 search up until maxload, if both are on at the same time it pulls half of max load from each. Black list applies to both options since maybe you want to use your favs but arent in the mood for a particular subject matter. Oh and due to the way the e621 api works newer e621 posts in your favorites have priority for getting loaded into the game.
