Virtual Master: Edge Trainer v0.0.2.6 Now Available!

It's that time, so strap in because we got some stuff to cover.

First of all I'd like to thank those  who reached out in the community (Both here and on Patreon),  and pointed out a few bugs in the game. Knowledge is power as they say, and bug reports really help along the debugging process. I know some devs can get weird about it but personally I appreciate it. Suggestions/Feature Requests, Feedback, and Bug Reports are all welcome here.

Now for the fun part, bellow is a list of changes and bug fixes that have been made to the game.


[ - Bug Fixes - ]

- Fixed infinite load screen if image list ends up empty during initializing (Now the session will continue as normal but without images)

- Fixed still being able to press oops button during session end (props if you managed to find that)

- Fixed missing UI sounds on oops button

- Fixed game crash if reached the end of loaded content.


[ - New Features - ]

- Temporary image cache now clears when session ends or game closes. (no more porn files hidden like buried treasure on your hard-drive lol)

- Added preflight validation to TeaseSource Settings.

- Added popup warning if no images will be loaded.

- Added key bind map to options menu.

- Added feedback to texture links on main menu. (To make it more obvious that they can be clicked)

- Added in game popup notification when a newer version of the game is available on itch.

- GIF SUPPORT, LETS GOOOOOO!

- Local File image source support tooooo!

I know less than 5% of people who have downloaded the game so far have also actually followed this page, so many might not see that this update got pushed. That could be for any number of reasons but for those who just don't follow NSFW content for privacy reasons, I hope the new in game update notifications help you out! Also if I set it up right the game should now be installable through the Itch.io app for automatic updates.

Aaaaaand that's about all I have for you guys now. I hope you have fun with the new features. I'll most likely be working on additional game mechanics next. I originally made this geared more toward use with Bluetooth toys but if the numbers are anything to go by only like 16% of people have actually looked at the XToys script. If it wasn't obvious already I do want this project to be as inclusive as humanly possible so I'll be hitting up the drawing board once again. Feel free to share some ideas if you want.

Might be fun if it can optionally also use estim or shock collar toys in xtoys for punishment. Perhaps when you reach the edge early or hit the oops button

I have been considering it, especially since I want to add sub-events to the go phase like "be still", or "be silent", but I don't have a unit to test with so its a bit scary.

well when it comes to electric stimulation it varies from person to person so it would probably make sense to have the user set a max level in xtoys
